Ingrid Schjølberg is Professor in Marine Technology at NTNU. She is Director of NTNU Oceans and Vice Dean for research and innovation at the Faculty of Engineering. She has a PhD in engineering Cybernetics, and has spent 15 years working at SINTEF (both within energy and ICT). Her strong engagement for the oceans, the development of marine industries and automation has led to a considerable body of research in the areas of petroleum and aquaculture. She also sits on several boards (NTNU TTO, SINTEF Ocean, NIVA, Subsea Valley).
